Ever been to an Indian Wedding Reception? Well if not you’ve certainly missed out. Indian wedding receptions are most definitely the biggest, most eccentric and entertaining receptions of all time. We really have seen it all from Hollywood themed to Circus themed, Musical Movements have DJ’d for some of the biggest wedding receptions around. The best thing about an Indian reception is that there is room for about anything. Always expect incredibly beautiful flower decors, matching colour schemes and a whole lot of glam.
The night is expected to be extravagant and is perhaps the only time you’re allowed to go completely over the top. We are talking glass dance floors, huge, glistening chandeliers and even special performances. These are all just a few of the many things that we have seen in past events. Of course, it is not just about the room itself, think about the food. Indians are massive foodies, so expect piles of paneer, plenty of traditional curries and bottles of alcohol on each table. And, don’t forget the desert and cake.
It’s the perfect time to sit, eat and talk about how well you know the bride or groom with the strangers next to you, as if it is a competition, (this tends to happen at Indian receptions). But, the best part of the evening and the most anticipated part of the night is being on the dance floor, all night long. At every Indian reception the DJs aim is to create a playlist and a set that is going to get the guests pumped. We really have done it all, but our favourite has got to be our rustic set up, with some of the best equipment around, we managed to create this unique and innovative set that makes the room feels electric. I mean we really have shown you that with Indian wedding receptions, you really must expect the unexpected.
