After several months of meetings and preparation our very own Mr Vish was flown out to Marbella to work alongside the best photography team in Gibraltar (Radka Horvath), he had the pleasure of working alongside Internationally acclaimed Mixologist Binny Dhadwal and the Flamenco dancers renowned for their performance in Zindagi Na Milenge Dobara (senorita).
The great hospitality from both sides of family from the very beginning allowed him to feel more of a guest. The Mehndi night set the tone for the weekend, it was well and truly a party to remember with both families making the most of being at this spectacular venue. Set amidst a beautiful and natural paradise the property offers magnificent views with spectacular centenary palm trees. That night Ten Walls – Walking with Elephants was the most popular requested song, making it officially the anthem of the weekend.
The next morning, Vish kept the energy levels peaking by playing the baraat into the venue with the sound of dhol beating through the valley. To round off the weekends festivities, Mr Vish kept the floor moving by mixing everything from Elvis Presley and Mohamed Rafi, right the way through to music from Blackstreet and Gipsy Kings. Cutting through 5/6 genres in one night means this has to be one of the most diverse and memorable crowds he has have played for! Even as the night was coming to an end and coaches were preparing to leave, guests were reluctant to leave the dance floor even after the lights were turned off. Unfortunately, like all good nights, this one had to come to an end.
