Hype Hyphen is one half of the electrifying DJ/Producer duo Hype & Fever, a boundary-pushing force blending their Caribbean and South Asian roots with the raw energy of UK bass culture.
Born in the UK to a Jamaican father and Indian mother, Hype Hyphen’s unique heritage is the heartbeat of their sound. Think Dancehall winding through Garage, Grime sparring with world sounds, all layered with the deep pulse of House and UK Bass. It's culture clash as celebration - bold, rhythmic, and undeniably hype.
Together with Fever, the duo has set stages on fire across the globe. From Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Notting Hill Carnival, to Frenzi Festival in Jamaica, Exit Festival in Serbia and Sea Dance festivals in Montenegro, their sets are known for high-octane energy and genre-defying blends. They’ve also headlined New Year’s Eve parties in Estonia and rocked countless clubs across London.
Their sound has earned airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Asian Network, and Capital Xtra, with live support from heavyweights like Stormzy, Spragga Benz, and General Levy.
